Passion Play in the Smokies is back and ready to reach more people for the kingdom of God. For the last 25 years, the Passion Play of the Smokies has been held in many different locations. From Townsend, Pigeon Forge and even to our neighbors in Gatlinburg, the play has found its way to Greenbrier. Hills Creek Baptist Church is proud to partner with them and bring you our first annual Passion Play of the Smokies in Greenbrier!

 

The night begins with the pre-show at 6:30 pm which will feature local singing groups that will minister to you through music. Each night the Passion Play begins at 7:00 pm with John the Baptist proclaiming the coming of the Messiah through the sermon on the mount, miracles, and confrontations with religious leaders. The story, told by Nicodemus, who relives the important events in the life of Christ and how He redeemed the world through His shed blood and resurrection.

 

The play is being held outside rain or shine so please come prepared. Also, at this time, we have limited seating but plenty of room for however many people you bring. However, please feel free to bring a chair if you would like, and it also wouldn't hurt to bring some bug spray as well! Please feel free to register below as the play is completely free!
